Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have possessed a 12th ( +2 stage ) or its equivalent / Matriculation pass plus ITI Certificate / Act Apprenticeship passed in various trades with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. Candidates must have a University Degree or its equivalent & 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering & Rail Transport & Management from the Institute of Rail Transport will be an additional desirable qualification or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of 03 years duration from a recognized university/institute.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should be 42 years for General category candidates, 45 years for SC / ST category candidates & 47 years for other category candidates as on 01.01.2018. The upper age limit & relaxation as per Govt. rules.

Scale of Pay:
Selected candidates receive their remuneration of Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- ( level-2 ) / Rs. 2000/- ( level-3 ) / Rs. 2400/- ( level-4 ) / Rs. 2800/- ( level-5 ) / Rs. 4200/- ( level-6 ) / Rs. 4600/- ( level- 7 ) & other allowances as per norms.

Selection Process:
