Job Description:
The Course Managing Editor (CME) creates, develops, and delivers excellent learning solutions to both individuals and businesses, using learning theory and technical knowledge to create an educational experience for learners that successfully teaches them new information or improves their skill level.
The design process includes assessing learner needs and styles, defining and validating learning objectives, creating the learning environment and content materials, implementing the training and evaluating the effectiveness of the course curriculum.
The top-line goal is to transform the Packt learning experience so that customers join and engage in Packt course content on a daily basis because it is compelling, motivating, and solves their learning challenges efficiently.
Eligibility:
Work on new B2B and B2C product requirements such as developing assessment content, curriculums, and Learning Paths.
Create new courses from existing Packt content, and commission where necessary other content required, to create a rich, compelling, and blended learning experience for customers.
Augment existing Packt content with Course elements such as quizzes, live code, and live support, to improve the value proposition and engagement of existing content.
Pioneer, pilot, and prototype new products, as per market directions, and make these products scalable and production-ready.
Edit course content on a technical level where necessary to engineer that content to be successful within the domain of each course and platform.
Support course customers who are not able to complete or are slowing down in their journey through a Packt course.
Understand and show the customer what they need to know to be able to move forward.
Engage customers and gain feedback so that we continue to deepen our understanding of the customer and what they want from courses.
