Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed a Graduate from the any recognized university of India. Candidates should have 10+2 in Science, Diploma or B.Sc., Bachelor’s Degree, B.Com or B.Sc. / BA, 2nd class Master Degree, MA etc from a recognized university or board. All other qualifications to know candidates please visit the official notification.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit minimum 18 years & maximum 45 years as on 01.01.2017. The upper age limit is relaxable ( Except for Sub Inspector of Police ) by 05 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC, PWD & Children / Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. The upper age relaxation is also available to Ex-servicemen candidates of H.P. as per provisions of relevant rules/instructions of H.P. Govt.

Scale of Pay:
Eligible & selected candidates receive their remuneration of Rs. 10300-34800+4600 GP / Rs. 5910-20200+3000 GP / Rs. 10900-34800+535/- GP / Rs. 6400-20200+2800/- GP & other allowances as per Govt. norms.

Selection Process:
Candidates are selected based on the written objective screening test / subjective tests & skill test / physical test / practical tests & Evaluation.

Examination Fees:
Candidates should have paid their examination fee of Rs. 360/- for General category candidates, Rs. 120/- for General IRDP, PH, WFF, Ward of Ex-Servicemen of HP & Rs. 120/- for SC / ST / OBC of HP candidates. Candidates can pay requisite exam fee through online payment Gateway OR offline computer general challan OR Lokmitra Kendra.
