Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2017- Apply Online for 110 Vacancies

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates Age should be between 21 Years and 32 Years as on 01.08.2017. The upper Age Limit will be relaxed by 05 Years for SC/ST and 03 Years for OBC Category candidates as per Government norms.

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Graduation degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from any recognized University or Institute. Selection Process:
Selection of the Candidates will be based on performance in the Preliminary written Examination followed by Main written Examination and Personal Interview conducted by the the Central Selection Committee of Union Public Service Commission. Only the qualified candidates of the Preliminary Exams will be called for the Mains Examination.

Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Application Fee can be paid through Online Mode by using Net-Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or Offline Mode by depositing the Cash in any Branch of State Bank of India. Please refer the notification in this regard.
