Company Profile:
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure in India. It provides Air traffic management (ATM) services over Indian airspace and adjoining oceanic areas. It also manages a total of 125 Airports, including 11 International Airports, 8 Customs Airports, 81 Domestic Airports and 25 Civil enclaves at Military Airfields. AAI also has ground installations at all airports and 25 other locations to ensure safety of aircraft operations. AAI covers all major air-routes over Indian landmass via 29 Radar installations at 11 locations along with 89 VOR/DVOR installations co-located with Distance Measuring Equipment (DME). 52 runways are provided with Instrument landing system (ILS) installations with Night Landing Facilities at most of these airports and Automatic Message Switching System at 15 Airports.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Retrieval of land records from the respective State Revenue Authority / Collectorate.
2. Getting it mutated in the name of Airports Authority of India.
3. Demarcating the perimeter line / Boundary of the AAI land area with the help of revenue officials, if required for ascertaining the actual boundary as per record after conducting survey etc.
4. Providing basic data required for digitization of the land records.
5. Identification and help in reclaiming the land under unauthorized occupation / slums.
6. Physical Audit of leased out land (phyiscal measurement of the leased out land).
7. Maintaining and updating all data related with land record.
8. Other responsibilities, as required / assigned from time to time by Competent Authority.
9. The Consultant shall report to APD / OFFICE-IN-CHARGE of Safdarjung Airport. Based on the observations/ facts / records, the Consultant shall submit the report to Airport Director/ Office-in-charge and all the correspondence shall be made by APD / OIC or AAI official with the Central / State Govt.
10. All the authorities with regard to writing / signing / submission of statement for the work assigned or to be assigned to the Consultant shall be of APD / OIC Safdarjung Airport or duly authorized AAI Official and the Consultant shall not write any letter to any of the authority inclusive of Central / State Govt. at his own.
11. Confidentiality of data and documents. The Intellectual property Rights (IPR) of the data collected as well as the deliverables produced for the Department shall remain with the Department. No one shall utilize or publish or disclose or part with,to a third party, and part of the data or statistics or proceeding or information collected for the purpose of this assignment or during the course of the assignment for the department, without the express written consent of the Department. The Consultant shall be bound to hand over the entire set of records of assignment to the Department before the expiry of the contract and as advised by the appointing Authority of his authorized representative and it is binding to consultant.
12. Conflict of interest : the consultant appointed by the Department, shall in no case represent or give opinion or advice to other in any matter which is adverse to the interest of the Department.
13. The Consultant shall not make any commitment with the Central / State Govt. or any other department on behalf of AAI.
Remuneration:
Rs. 32000/- (Rs. Thirty two thousand only) per month (In addition to above, reimbursement of Telephone and Transport facility shall be provided as per AAI rules and as applicable to the equivalent officer of Sr. Manager level AAI.).

Applications are invited by Airport Director, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi from eligible candidates for appointment as Consultant as Land Management in Airports Authority of India (AAI), Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi - 110003 on Contract basis for one year. Last date of receipt of application is 07th October, 2016.
