About Teachers Recruitment Board Tripura (TRBT)
The Govt of Tripura has constituted the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT). It is for the conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for selection of candidates at the elementary level (for classes I to VIII) as well as conduct of Selection Test for Graduate Teachers (GT) (for classes IX-X) and Selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) (for classes XI-XII) for recommendation of recruitment of teachers.

Eligibility Criteria for TRBT GT PGT Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification
- For Graduate Teacher (GT) Post: Candidates must have Graduation/Post Graduation with 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or equivalent from a recognized university.
- For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Post: Applicants should have Post Graduation degree with 50% marks in relevant subject and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/ A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit
For GT & PGT Posts: Candidates age should not exceed 40 years.
Age relaxations are applied to all the candidates as per the Tripura Govt rules.
Pay Scale for TRB Tripura PGT Recruitment 2016
- For Graduate Teacher Post: Rs. 7970/- fixed per month (against pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- with Grade pay Rs. 2800/-).
- For Post Graduate Teacher Post: Rs. 10,130/- fixed per month (against pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- + Grade pay Rs. 4200/-).
